Applying makeup is an art. Although we all tend to do it daily, sometimes we do not know what the exact order is to achieve good makeup. But sure enough, everything has an order in life.

To achieve an impeccable makeup, we show you this small guide so you can organize yourself and make a good makeup habit, which together with a good technique, will always bring good results.

The guide that we will show you today, takes into account the following makeup products:

  • Base
  • Concealer
  • Dust
  • Shadow
  • Eyeliner
  • Rimmel
  • Labial
  • Blush / Bronzer

However, if you’re not used to using so many beauty products, don’t worry. Follow the order with the products that you do use in your day to day.

We also remind you that before you start applying products on your face, it is important that you exfoliate your face at least once a week. This is to keep it clean, free of blackheads or pimples. At the end of the exfoliation, apply hydration to both the skin and lips. In this way you will protect the skin from direct exposure between the skin and makeup.

You can also choose moisturizers with sun protection to protect your skin from UV rays. In the same way, we remind you that it is essential to remove all the makeup once you have finished your day, to keep your skin healthy and young.

1 Makeup Base

1 Makeup Base

First of all the base is applied. The base usually has moisturizing components that help the product adhere better to your skin. Apply the base first to ensure smooth, homogeneous looking skin. We recommend you not to apply the base with your fingers but with a sponge to get a more natural look.

2 Concealer

2 Concealer

Once the base is applied, it will be easier for you to detect which areas need reinforcement. Apply a little concealer on top of noticeable spots, pimples, dark circles, etc. Remember that your concealer should be a lower tone than your base.

3 Dust

3 Dust

Once you have covered all the imperfections of your face you can apply the powder. The powder serves to remove the shine from your skin. Do not apply it on your entire face but on the T zone only. Once you have finished with the placement of the powder you should see that your skin is ready, although with a look perhaps a little flat.

4 Eye shadow

4 Eye shadow

Carefully apply the shade on your eyelids, from the outside in. Use lighter colors for the center, to enlarge the shape of the eye. After applying the base color or colors, you can add a layer of shine or frost to brighten and highlight your eyes.

5 Eyeliner

5 Eyeliner

Once you have applied the eye shadow, you can frame your eye with an outline of the style of your preference. You can use an elongated, cat, thick or fine outline. Check here the different types of eyeliner that you can find in the market, and choose the one that best suits you.

6 Rimmel

6 Rimmel

Once you have finished making up one eye, you can add rimmel to lengthen your eyelashes. In this way they do not get dirty with the dust of the shadow or get messy with the use of the eyeliner. Use the rimmel from bottom to top, and from the center out.

7 Labial

7 Labial

Once your eyes are ready you can see which type of lipstick feels best to you. If you have dark eyes, it is best to opt for a mouth of pale or neutral color. If, on the other hand, you have clear eyes, you can opt for a fabulous red or orange mouth.

8 Blush / Bronzer

8 Blush Bronzer

Finally, once you have your face made up, you can apply the blush and bronzerto give dimension to your face. The cheeks unite the eyes and lips and the intensity of the blush has to do with the intensity we put into the rest of our makeup and the intention we want to give it. Apply the blush or bronzer to highlight your pomuli.

The blush or bronzer should be two fingers from the nose and two fingers from the eyes, on a diagonal from the ball of your cheeks to your sideburn. We must apply it with a smile to color the right areas. The bronzer will serve to define and the blush (pink or peach) to give color to the face.
