The Ultimate Guide to Everyday Natural Makeup Look
Everyday Natural Makeup Routine That Will Only Take You 5 Minutes
If you’re tired of spending too much time doing your makeup every morning, or you just prefer a more natural makeup look and you’re not a huge fan of using an impossible amount of highlighter, bronzer and contouring cream, then this article is here to achieve that everyday natural makeup look – in just 5 minutes.
Not all of us are blessed with flawless skin and a perfect complexion, but our guide will get you as close as possible to that raw and natural “no makeup” look.
How to get the natural makeup look
- It starts with your skin
If you want to achieve that dewy “I woke up like this” look, then you need to prep your skin. Start by using a gentle exfoliating gel to get rid of dead skin and any excess oil before you start applying more products to your skin. Next, use a hydrating face mask to give your skin some suppleness and elasticity. Then use your go-to moisturizer to even out your skin texture and prepare a nice base for makeup application.

2. Conceal any blemishes
Use a light concealer to hide any dark circles, visible breakouts, or blemishes. The trick is not to use too much product since that will only highlight your problem areas. Use as thin of a layer as possible to conceal any imperfections, and use your finger to blend the product for a perfect finish.

3. Use light to medium coverage for your base
You can use a light liquid foundation as a base, a bb or cc cream. If your skin is too oily, use a powder foundation instead, to absorb any excess oil while still maintaining some moisture. You don’t want your face to look too matte, because that just beats the purpose of a natural look. Make sure to use a blending sponge instead of a brush for a seamless look with no streaks or lines.

4. Go for a peachy blush color
Though blush shades vary depending on the skin tone, warm peachy colors tend to blend in very nicely and will give you that natural flushed look. Opt for creams instead of powders, because they tend to blend in better and sink right into your skin rather than just sit on top.

5. Define your cheeks
This step is optional, you can skip it if you don’t normally dabble in bronzing. But if you like to have a bit more structure to your face, then opt for a cream bronzer to warm up your skin tone. Use a damp sponge to blend it right into your cheekbones. You can also indulge in a light application over your jawline and temples.

6. Use neutral shades to define your eyes and lips
Go a shade darker than your skin tone, and brush a neutral color into the creases of your eyelids and along the lower lash line, to give your eyes some definition and enhance their natural contour.
Use pink or nude lipstick to complement your skin tone. Instead of applying it directly from the tube, use your fingertips to dab the color onto your lips for a more natural makeup look. Start with a center and blend from there.

7. Define your brows and lashes
To finish off your look, use a lash curler to get your eyelashes more protruding and apply a thin layer of mascara. Be sure not to use any eyeliner, since that will only make your look more dramatic and less natural.
Brush your brows and slightly fill them in while mimicking brush strokes, or use a brow powder for a more even distribution. Don’t forget to lock everything with a setting spray for a long-lasting makeup application.
There you go! Your future everyday makeup routine that will get you the perfect natural look – with the “no makeup” effect. Trust me, once you get used to it, it will only take you 5 minutes every morning.
