In each stride, in each jump or trot, the knees exert a lot of force. And if we don’t give them the necessary rest or care, little by little they will deteriorate. If this is your case, you can reduce your knee pain with these exercises.

  • Knee extension with hip curls

Sit in a chair with your back very straight. Keep your legs bent, but not too much. Extend one leg until it is completely in line with your hips and lower it back down. Repeat the process 10 times on each side and rest for 5 minutes.

  • Hip extension

Lie face down on a tarp on the floor. Keep one leg bent, and the other fully straight. The leg that is bent, you should lift it towards the ceiling gently. Without straining the muscle too much. Repeat for 10 seconds each side in 4 different sessions.

  • Knee extension

For this exercise, you will have to sit on the floor. Place a rolled tarp under the knees and spread them by pressing down and forward. You will feel a small punch below the knee. Remember to go at your own pace, and not overstretch your knee to avoid any type of injury.

  • Yoga

You must know all the benefits of yoga for the body. If you feel any ailment or discomfort in any part of your body, yoga will help channel that pain and transform it into the energy you need to continue.

Home remedies or creams for knee pain, for bone pain

The exercises are excellent for health and to improve the resistance and capacity of our joints, however, when we feel knee pain when flexing, we may need other remedies to heal the pain. For example, essential oils that are great for sore muscles.

  • Rosemary

An herb that is widely used for its different medicinal applications. Besides being a main ingredient in Mediterranean food, it can be used in many home remedies. In this case, for the pain in your knees, rosemary will act as a natural painkiller. It will relax the nerves and decrease inflammation.

Prepare an infusion with 150 grams of rosemary, and 350 ml of water. In a saucepan, boil the leaves for fifteen minutes. And once that time has elapsed, strain the leaves and let it rest. Take the infusion twice a day, until the pain disappears.

  • Horse tail

The ponytail will be very useful if you want to eliminate knee pain from the inside. You can buy it at your nearest pharmacy, and prepare it as an infusion. By drinking it twice a day, it will not only cure your knee pain, but it will improve your metabolism and immune system.

  • Turmeric 

Turmeric is a spice widely used in Asian dishes. However, it provides many anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. And it is special to reduce inflammation and ailments. Mix two tablespoons of turmeric, with two tablespoons of honey and two tablespoons of water. Apply the mixture directly on the affected area and massage.
