How to harden nails – Home Remedies

Years ago a doctor friend told me something I’ve never forgotten. For him, a woman with sloppy nails was someone who not only neglected her physique, but also her health. His theory was that nails show many diseases both by shape, color and imperfections. If someone didn’t manage, he didn’t know if he had any problems. In addition, he added, neglected nails look horrific.

Every time I see someone with sloppy nails I remember my friend. It is true that nails denote a lot of us. But it is also true that overdoing the procedures can cause the nails to weaken. Gel manicures, improper filing, poor feeding, using poor quality paints, can make them weak.

The tips that we leave you below will help you harden your nails with home remedies.

1 Oils

1 Oils

Of course, among the various oils that can be used to harden nails is our preferred and omnipotent olive oil. To do this, put a splash of olive oil in a small container and heat it a little (3 or 4 seconds in the microndas). Then put your nails (clean and without enamel) in the oil. When the oil cools, massage it well into your nails and remove the excess with paper but do not wash your hands until the oil has penetrated the nail. Repeat it daily until you see your nails improve.
Similar treatments can be done with castor oil and almond oil.
Another option is to mix the three oils in a bottle and apply it with a swab to your nails.

2 Aloe Vera

2 Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is another of nature’s wonders. It helps in so many things that it’s amazing.
In the case of weak nails, take a penca of aloe vera and take out the crystals. Put them in a bowl and flatten them until they form a puree. Put your nails in the container and let the aloe cover your nails. Do it for about ten minutes, then wash your hands and put a drop of olive oil, castor or almonds on your finger and with that massage your nails.

3 Onion

3 Onion

Take a large onion and split it in two. In each of the parts you will make five holes. In them you will put your fingers so that the nails are well covered. Stay this way for 10 minutes, then wash your hands to remove the odor and apply the indicated oils. The properties of the onion will make your nails nourish and heal any possible wound in the cuticles. You can store the onion in the well-covered fridge, to use it about five times. Then you throw it in the trash.

4 Cucumber

4 Cucumber

Take a not very large cucumber and pass it through the blender. If you want, you can add two drops of olive oil. Put the puree in a container and place your fingers in it, taking care that the nails are well covered. Wait 10 minutes and then wash your hands and massage with a little oil.

5 Garlic

5 Garlic

With garlic there are two options. One is to crush several heads of garlic until they are like a puree and put your nails on it for ten minutes. Then, to eliminate the smell, you should not rub, just put your hands under cold water for several minutes. Remember not to rub. Then wash your hands normally with soap and apply the oil.

Another option is to take a clove of garlic and crush it. The mash is added to your hardening enamel to enhance the effect. A very efficient trick to remove the smell of garlic from your hands is to rub your fingers with lemon.

6 Rosemary

6 Rosemary

Take two teaspoons of dried rosemary and put them in a cup of freshly boiled water. Let an infusion be made, when it is warm, dip your nails in it for 10 minutes. Finish with the usual oil. You can do this every day for a week.
