How to make homemade eye makeup remover

One of the things that we have very clear in life is that you never have to go to bed without removing makeup. Removing makeup is essential to have healthy skin. Leaving makeup gets old, dirties pores, irritates the skin, can cause allergies and also makes your pillowcases look very dirty.

Each one has its methods: some use makeup remover wipes (which serve from time to time, but it is recommended that they do not become the only way), others apply creams to remove the paints, other micellar lotions. The usual thing is to first remove the makeup and then complete the task with soap, tonic and your moisturizer.

The reasons for making your own makeup remover can range from when you forgot it and can’t buy a new one, to economic or even ecological reasons. Whatever it is, here are some recipes.

1 Oils

Obviously, using oil is a quick and easy way to remove makeup from your face. My favorite is olive oil, because it also leaves the skin precious.

You can also use jojoba oil or canola oil. However, if you don’t like to smell like a salad, you can also use hazelnut oil, which is very healthy. Another option is almond oil, which does wonders for the skin.

In the case that you use oils, you should only put a few drops in a cotton flake and apply as usual.

2 Yoghurt

2 Yoghurt

If you are going to use yogurt as a makeup remover, it is best to make your own yogurt, which is very easy (Bulgarian milk and bacilli or milk and a pot of natural yogurt, mixtures, leave overnight and in the morning you will have your yogurt ready.

If you don’t have your own yogurt but only the one bought in stores, try to make it natural.

You can put it on the skin, let it sit for a few minutes and then remove it with a cotton swab. Another option is to mix it with strawberries (in the blender it is better), apply it on the face, let it rest and then remove it with gauze.
It is important that at the end of the process you rinse your face very well with water.

3 Chamomile

Make an infusion of chamomile. Let it sit. If you made it with the flowers, you should strain it before using. Once it’s cold, mix it with a splash of almond oil (although you can actually do it with any type of oil).

Put it in a glass container with a lid that fits well. Shake the mixture vigorously before use.

You can apply it with a cotton swab.

This mixture will last you several days, but it is better to keep it in the fridge.

4 Milk

In an emergency, milk can serve you perfectly. They say that direct milk from the cow is also better for these cases, but it is also not that one has the cows nearby.

In any case, take a little milk, heat it a little until it is warm. Then you apply it to your skin with a cotton swab to remove your makeup.

In the end, rinse with plenty of cold water.

5 Vaseline

Vaseline is another wonder that serves for everything. Place some petroleum jelly on a cotton ball and remove the makeup.

Since it is a heavy fat, it is better that you then rinse it well with plenty of water or micellar lotion.
