How to organize and save makeup
I see it in every house. I admit it, so do I. We all have a drawer in the closet, in the bathroom or in any corner where we have all the brushes, the pencils, the eyeshadows living in freedom. Bottles of base cream with stains of the same cream, shiny, by the eyeshadows and some piece of the tip of an eyeliner.
This disorder only gets the makeup to spoil prematurely and we have to spend the money on new ones. Because we see it, we regret it and we fix it, but incomprehensibly, the next day, it is like this again. We have to do something.
1 What do you use and what don’t?
It hurts me a lot, but this is the time when you have to throw shadows that we don’t really use. We can’t have it there just because the color is beautiful or because they have given it to us or because we have used it once to see how it is. It is not viable.
Choose the colors you use for daily and the ones you use for party and knitting. The same with the base creams. Choose the one that is a lighter tone than yours or the same tone. The others are discarded. Lipsticks the same. You will always end up using the same color, what do you do with five others?
If you are very sorry to throw them away, keep them in a separate box, do not mix them. Thus, at some point you can go to it. But only at specific times.
Most fluid creams, on the back of the container, have the drawing of an open jar and a number. That number represents the number of months of life that the cream has, since it is opened. So if you have canisters for a longer time, to the trash, because they will cause damage to your skin.
3 Briefcase or box with sections
It’s the best thing you can do to organize it. In one hole, the eye shadows, in another the blushes, glitters, bases, etc. If you only have a mascara and eyeliner, put them together and next to the eyeshadows. Apart from organized, you will have it more beautiful. Everything is balance.
4 Cleaning and organization of brushes
It is incredible to see a brush totally open, dry and that on top of that, we continue to use it. That brush is long overdue. The ideal is to have them closed and still maintain their fluffiness.
To do this, we must wash them once a month, with warm water and soap that we place in a bowl and put the heads. We move them slightly, so that the waste comes off and then we put them to dry on kitchen paper, face down, so that they drain all the water. Do not try it with open brushes, those have no arrangement.
Then, we will place them in a kind of briefcase for brushes. If you do not have it, with a fiber cloth or a cloth bag, it is enough. You have to keep them away from the environment, because they dry out and fill with waste that then goes to your face.
Simple, isn’t it? It’s time to put it into practice. With these simple tricks, your makeup will always be organized and you will not have to go rummaging through the drawer and less, staining your hand, with the remains of other makeup.
