1 Warm water

1 Warm water

First place some warm water in a bowl, and dip your fingers inside it for a few minutes. This will soften the cuticle (skin that surrounds the nails) and the outermost layer of them.

2 Nail file, two-sided

With this file begins to shape the nails. The roughest face will be responsible for filing the edges. Do not forget under the nails, which sometimes gets chipped and affects the enamel. With the softer face, but also somewhat rough, we will pass it over the nail in general. Rub without fear, which will not pierce your finger. You will see that it is whitish. When you have them filed, soak them in water, again.

3 Orange stick, for the cuticles

3 Orange stick, for the cuticles

You can find it in many stores, in the accessories section. They are wooden sticks, with a tip cut diagonally. The tip is rounded, so it won’t hurt when you start pushing the cuticles in. It is better to push them than to cut them, after all, it is the protection of the root of the nail. We just want to take it back to discover the nail as much as possible and that there is more space to paint.

4 Nail polish

Choose the color that you like the most, but always try to make it a good enamel. There are those that are cheap, but the colors do not last long, sometimes they are sticky and do not flow well and have hardly any color, so you should be giving yourself several layers. Make sure it is good and that the liquid is fluid and covers the nails.

5 To paint

When you take the brush out of the little pot, remove the rest, which does not leak. Crush the brush horizontally on the base of the nail, at the height of the cuticle. Support it in the center and drag it to the end of the nail. Then, do the same, with the right side and with the left side. Relax and make sure your pulse does not tremble.
Let it dry completely. Wait several minutes, without touching them. When it has dried, apply a second layer. This way you will get a more vivid and intense color.

6 Nail polish remover

This will be your best ally in your adventure of painting your nails, because you will get the damage to go away. If you have it in pencil form, it will be much more comfortable, because you can be more accurate. But with a boat, it’s also worth it. You just have to wet a cotton swab, to get the precision of an nail polish remover pencil.

7 Top Coat

7 Top Coat

The top coat, is another type of enamel, but that is applied on the color, already dry, to finish the manicure. It will look like a transparent enamel, but it is a layer that fixes and gives shine. This way you will get the manicure to remain intact, for at least a week.

As you can see, painting your nails well is not something that requires great experience. You just need patience, time and practice. Your nails will look beautiful and eye-catching, without the need to spend money on the beauty salon.
