1 Use waterproof rimmel every day
You may think that waterproof rimmel is great for the day-to-day life of a working woman like you. But the truth is that waterproof rimmel dries out your eyelashes and makes them fall out. It is an ideal option if you go to the beach for a day or if , unfortunately – you have a burial. In the market there are many options that last more than 24 hours and that remain fixed despite the heat, sweat, etc. So put aside the waterproof rimmel, and leave it only for certain occasions.
2 Wear expired makeup
Makeup has an expiration date. If we use an expired product we are risking irritating our skin or eyes. In addition to these dermatological consequences, expired makeup will not have the same effect. Rimmel won’t lengthen your eyelashes properly and you’ll probably feel lumpy. The base will quickly fall off with sweat. Check the expiration date very well, but if you do not find it and you have had that favorite rimmel since school, it is best to put it in the trash immediately.
3 Do not hydrate
Always remember that the skin on your face is extremely delicate. There’s no better way to look good than to feel good and be healthy. So before applying base, rimmel, bronzer, concealer, remember to wash your face well, exfoliate it and moisturize it. In this way you will guarantee a good absorption of makeup and prevent your skin from looking dull and dry. Also, remember that moisturizing the skin is the best way to prevent wrinkles, so it’s also important to drink plenty of water.
4 Use bronzer as a base
The bronzer is simply wonderful to give a radiant look to your face, but if you are applying it on the entire skin of your face, I must inform you that you are not doing it well. The correct way to apply bronzer is only under the cheekbones or in the shape of three, from your forehead to your chin, creating a bronzer frame on your face. Another common mistake is to use a bronzer that is too dark for your skin tone. Although bronzer is used precisely to add color to your face and give it dimension, abusing the coloration will have catastrophic results.
5 Apply the concealer first
The concealer should be applied after the base. In this way your face will already be hydrated and you will be able to see exactly where to apply concealer. In addition, if you apply the concealer before the base you will be spreading the concealer all over your face, and the skin of your face will look unnatural and very opaque.
6 Create your own raccoon dark circles
Even if you think you have the worst dark circles in the world, the truth is that they don’t look as bad as your eyes turned into a cream cake. Apply concealer from the tear to the lower central part of the eye, not around the entire eye. This would create the opposite effect to what is desired: applying too much concealer for dark circles has an unnatural effect that looks particularly obvious in flash photographs.
7 Make up with your fingers
This is one of the most common mistakes. We have a tendency to apply the base with our fingers. This may be the easiest and fastest way to do it, but the result will not be uniform as expected. Use a makeup sponge to properly distribute the foundation through the skin of your face. In addition, using the sponge you can ensure that your makeup has more duration and a more natural look.
8 Stretch the skin on your face
We have a tendency to stretch the skin around our eyes when we are applying eyeliner or rimmel. The result is that we will eventually lose elasticity in this delicate area. In addition, it is never advisable to touch the skin of the face with your fingers. One option would be to keep your eyes wide open when applying the rimmel, and very delicately stretch the skin from above the eyebrows. 9 Apply powder all over your face
This mistake is quite common, and it happens since many people do not really know the purpose of each product. The powder is used to detract from the shine of the face. The base or concealer should not be supplanted by powder, as this will result in a dry and unnatural face. Apply powder only to your T-zone, and leave your cheeks free for a more natural look and maintain the elasticity of your face.
10 Apply lipstick without exfoliating
